Rancho Texas Park
The Rancho Texas Park is a Wild West theme park situated just outside Puerto del Carmen. Covering around 50,000 square metres the park is packed full of family fun and with the recent addition of the new water park is a day out not to be missed.
The park itself is full of interesting and extrordianry animals such as Pumas, Crocodiles, Tigers and a huge selection of exotic bits and visitors are entertained throughout the day with regular Parrot, Sea Lion and Birds of Prey shows.
The park also features some amazing gardens that you can take a walk through, witnessing nature at its best, along with the odd waterfall!
Take a trip on a pony or camel or even try your hand at a bit of canoeing (* extra cost on top of the admission price)
And don't forget the gold mining whilst you are there - who knows what treasures you might find.
The Park is open daily 9:30 a 17:30 pm.
The Waterpark
The new Rancho Texas Waterpark is already proving to be a great hit both with children and adults. The pool complex hosts a toddlers pool with mini slide, water jets and model buffalos standing in the water.
For those that don't fancy getting wet there is no shortage of sun beds around the pool.
The park is already very popular with families visiting Lanzarote with sea lion shows, bird exhibitions and beutifully presented gardens.
Country and Western Theme Nights
By night the park transforms into a scene from an old wild west movie. On arrival you are greeted by Cowboys and Indians and a friendly welcome from the saloon girls.
The all you can eat BBQ buffet is a big hit and as the beer and sangria flow all night you can choose to either sit back and watch the line dancing and wild west demonstrations or, if you feel up to it, take part yourselves!
