Lanzarote Car Hire

Although Lanzarote is only a small island, it has plenty of places and attractions for holiday makers to experience whilst they are there.

Of course, you can book an amazing tour or excursion to see the likes of the Timanfaya National Park, however, in our opinion the easiest way to get around the island is to hire a car.

There is certainly no shortage of car hire options on Lanzarote and whilst some companies may. To help you on your way we have provided a quote form on the right and listed some contact details below.

Driving Tips

Are you the designated driver on your trip to Lanzarote?  Keep in mind the following when you get behind the wheel.

  • Keep to the right hand side of the round.
  • Go around Roundabouts anti-clockwise.
  • When on a slip road, wait for a gap in the traffic.  Traffic on the main carriageway does not move over to allow slip road traffic to join the road.
  • When you see a stop sign, make sure you stop - even if there is no visible traffic coming.
  • Wear proper footwear and not sandals or Crocs.  The local police can hand out on the spot fines for inappropriate footwear.
  • Carry your Passport and Driving license with you at all times for identification. Useful if you get stopped for a spot check.
