Jameos del Agua, Lanzarote

Jameos del Agua

Situated just across the road from The Green Caves, Jameos del Agua is located in the north of Lanzarote. The lava bubbles that form the attraction were caused by the eruption of Monte de la Corona around 3,000 years ago.

Jameos del Agua, LanzaroteThe main attraction is the underground lake that hosts the very rare Blind Albino crab. This is one of the only places in the world where people will actually see them as they usually live deep below the surface.

The cave has a new concert room, a dance floor and two bars. This means that Jameos Del Agua can play host to an event or function, making it one of the most unique venues in Lanzarote.

To visit Jameos del Agua you will need to hire a car or book on an organised coach trip.
