Teguise Market

The Teguise Sunday Market is without doubt the best weekly market on Lanzarote and is very popular with the tourists. Once Lanzarotes capital it is now home to a busy Sunday market where you can find stall after stall of arts and crafts, clothes, shoes and cafes.

The market at Teguise isn't your average market. Rows of market stalls wind through the small cobbled streets of the town. Not only is there a huge selection of gifts and products on sale, but also demonstrations of glass blowing and t-shirt painting as products are hand-crafted in front of your very eyes before they go on sale.

Parking on market day is no problem. There are a number of cheap car parks around the edge of the town that are no more than 5 minutes walk away from the market.

The market takes place every sunday, usually up until around 2pm.

Without doubt the Teguise market is the best you will find across all the Canaries.
