Lanzarote Airport Transfers

You've landed! Now, onward to your resort!

Lanzarote Airport is just outside the islands capital, Arrecife, and just a few moments drive away from the main resort of Puerto del Carmen. There are no regular public bus services that service the airport so you will need to arrange transport from the airport to your resort.

It is highly recommend that you book your transfer before you travel as the public transport on the island does not service the airport very well.

If you have booked a package holiday with a tour operator then there is a very strong chance that your resort transfer service is provided by the holiday company, but if you have booked independently then you will need to arrange a resort shuttle, taxi or hire car.

The most popular Airport Transfer service is Last Minute Travel (you will also see their offices in the resorts where you can book excursions and day trips). They offer a range of services included shared bus shuttles, pre-booked taxis and door to door wheelchair access.

Resorthoppa also operate shuttles year round from the airport to Arrecife, Costa Calero, Costa Teguise, Matagorda, Playa Blanca, Puerto del Carmen, Puerto Calero and Playa de los Pocillos.

Approximate Transfer times to the main resorts from Lanzarote airport

Matagorda : 5 Minutes

Puerto del Carmen : 10 Minutes

Playa Blanca : 40 Minutes

Costa Teguise : 15 minutes
