I Love Papagayo Catamaran is the best way to visit the beautiful and iconic Papagayo beaches. These stunning natural coves are hidden away along the southern coast of Lanzarote, and are one of the islands main highlights. You can guarantee than on almost every postcard or guidebook, there will be a picture of this incredible collection of bays, and one of the best ways to visit them is by sea.
Your day will begin in the harbour of Puerto Del Carmen (transfers available from each resort) where you will jump on board the luxury catamaran. From here you will begin sailing along Lanzarote's unique coastline whilst watching out for sea life in Lanzarote's protected clear waters. You will sail past the luxurious Puerto Calero marina and the picturesque village of Playa Quemeda and its fish farms. Here is one of the most popular areas for seeing marine life such as dolphins, whales, turtles, flying fish, and angel sharks, so we definitely recommend keeping an eye on the ocean as you sail past the area.
From here you will continue to follow the coastline past the impressive volcanos towards the south of the island.
The beaches are just along the coast from the holiday resort of Playa Blanca, in the Natural Park Los Ajaches. You will moor up at the largest and most famous beach, Playa Mujeres. Once anchored in the sheltered Papagayo bay, you can also take advantage of the kayaks, and inflatable floating mats for some fun in the ocean. You can swim around the boat whilst admiring Lanzarote's incredible sea life, and with the snorkelling equipment available on board you will be able to see thousands of tropical fish in the sea below.
You can swim across to the Papagayo beach to relax on land, or hitch a ride over on one of our smaller boats. The "I Love Papagayo" Catamaran also boasts large nets, ideal for laying out, topping up your tan, and making the most of Lanzarote's sunny warm climate with a freshly made mojito, completely all inclusive.
The chef will prepare a traditional freshly made Spanish Paella which will be served on board (Vegetarian option available), and the all inclusive bar will be serving beer, sangria, and soft drinks throughout the entire day. After enjoying these beautiful beaches, you will sail back to Puerto Del Carmen, before boarding the spacious air conditioned coaches back to your resort.
