Like a bargain?  You will love the Lanzarote markets!

For tourists that like a touch of shopping Lanzarote doesn't let you down. Not only is there substantial shopping in both Puerto del Carmen and Arrecife, there are also a number of markets that take place around the island during the week.

Teguise Market

Teguise MarketTeguise Market, easily the the largest Market on the island, takes place in Teguise, every Sunday morning from 9am until 2pm.

The small streets of Teguise are lined with stalls selling everything from local produce, Aloe Vera products to Leather Stools.The market atmosphere is created by local musicians playing anything from Pan Pipes to the Electric Guitar, along with your traditional Canarian music of course!Parking is available just outside the town and at most is a 5 minute walk into the market.

Playa Blanca (Rubicon) Market

Rubicon MarketMarket Day in Playa Blanca happens twice a week at the Marina Rubicon.

There are currently around 30 stalls that line the Marina and you can pick up anything from hand made craft souveniers to Lanzarote Wines.

There are also a number of small shops and bars located around the Marina which usually open at Market time.The Playa Blanca market takes place on a Wednesday and Saturday morning from 10am to 2pm.

Arrecife Market

The Arrecife Tourist market takes place every Saturday morning from 9am to 2pm around the Church of San Gines.

There are a number of stalls that offer local produce, wines and handmade crafts which make for great holiday souveniers.

There is usually a performance from local musicians that really adds to the atmosphere of the market.
