Orzola

In what seems like a million miles away from the tourist areas of Lanzarote, Orzola is a remote village in the northern part of the island.

The locals also seem like they come from a different world as they go about their day to day lives with no concerns for the tourism on the island.

Although in a world of its own, Orzola is home to a number of very nice seafood restaurants located in the small harbour. The harbour, although small is home to a number of small fishing boats and is also the departure point for the local ferries that make the small trip to the island of La Graciosa.

Orzola has two beaches nearby, the most popular being Caleton Blanco. This sun-bathers can enjoy a white sandy beach with surroundings of black lava.
