Shop 'til you drop at the Biosfera Shopping Centre

There's no better way to treat yourself than a spot of shopping in Lanzarote's most stylish commercial centre.
The Biosfera outlet in Puerto del Carmen is home to your high street favourites, such as Zara, Claire's Accessories, Foot Locker, Levis and Timberland along with several European brands and designer stores. The shops here tend to be slighter cheaper than the prices back home, but for clothing we definitely recommend trying things on before you buy as the sizes here do differ significantly to the ones in the UK (in fact some clothing sizes differ between shops!).
There are many clothes shops, including Bershka, Pull and Bear and Pimkie. There are a couple of cosmetic stores, including Bodybell for discounted perfumes and aftershaves. Bodybell is one of the best places in Lanzarote to buy make up, from high end luxury palettes to popular brands such as Rimmel and Maybelline.
There is a Spar supermarket and an opticians, as well as mobile phone stores and a large sweet shop. A BHS style home-ware shop recently opened downstairs supplying some quirky items and trinkets for your kitchen, garden and living room. This is next to Natura which is also well known for selling funky homeware items and clothing.
If you really fancy a taste from home, there is a Mcdonalds restaurant, aswell as an icecream parlor and cafe. The Star Light open air chill out and cinema is Puerto Del Carmen's newest attraction, with a bar, and an array of films showing each night in a number of languages.
If you fancy taking a trip to the shopping center, you can jump in a taxi from anywhere in the resort for roughly 5 euros. It is also accessible by foot, by walking from the avenida down the hill and towards the old town. There is also a free large car park underneath the centre if you wish to travel by car.
