So this is the “calima”!
If you’re on Lanzarote today you’ll see the sand in the air blown over from Africa. At times the whole sky goes orange.
Don’t worry, it happens here from time to time. Today we also have strong winds, especially here in the north where this photo was taken.
Take a little extra water and be more careful on the roads. The calima usually lasts a few days at most.
Get that camera out and capture the incredible!
