Lanzarote is no longer a COVID-19 free destination. Of course it’s inevitable and this will be the case everywhere as borders open. Still, it hurts.
The latest cases arrived via undocumented crossings from North Africa and by air from origin Mexico. Contact paths are being investigated.
It’s more common to see tourism in the streets recently and we thank those who abide by our laws of using a mask and respecting distance.
Don’t let your guard down just because it’s beautiful. Relish the opportunity to relax with respect.
